sustainable fabrics & manufacturing

After our first series of jersey we were facing a lot of uncertainty: What is Defy Gravity, do we want to become a big sports label? Shall we go for mass production? Why would anybody produce a clothing line with such a high standard without getting a proper return in mind?

Our result was very simple: as long as we can afford it, we will keep it like this. It started as an experiment, where would it lead? Nobody knew and nobody knows.

Here is our second strike, a complete kit, with great shorts, which still fit both ladies and gents. And a jersey. Quite a challenge to create a product which *can* scale — if you want it — but still works out for us, if it stays what it is: A well thought through product. Still with the best fabrics. Still with the small quantities.

We hope you like it as much as we do!
